Daily Doodle: Season’s Greetings

Song of the Day: Bass Head by Bassnectar

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m standing in front of a homemade contraption of wooden dowels and glass soda bottles. Each of the glasses are touching a dowel and I’ve attached an amp to the dowels by way of alligator clips. I am armed with two broken dowels and am hitting the bottles to the beat.

Blurb 1/365: Raindrops keep fallin’ on my head. Wait, it’s not raining. Wait, I’m inside. Wait, I’m in the shower. Wait, I need to wake up.

Daily Doodle: Reading by Fragile Light

Song of the Day: Johnny Angel by Shelley Fabares

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m singing backup with two others. We are swaying in unison to the music with choreographed dance steps. We are wearing white bows in our hair and long white gloves that go to our elbows.

Blurb 1/365: Get in that right frame of mind and hang it up on the wall.

Daily Doodle: Harvest Time Is Here

Song of the Day: Christmas Time Is Here by the Vince Guaraldi Trio with the cast of A Charlie Brown Christmas

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m sitting in a warm place and it smells like fresh coffee, chocolate, and mint. While I’m in a dim corner, I’m admiring a pianist under a soft light playing this tune.

Blurb 1/365: Sci-Fi thoughts: When I get sick, I usually have vivid dreams that I may or may not remember by the time I wake up. The weird thing is, the next day, I have bursts of emotion: anxiety, like I forgot to do something, or I’m worried, or a warm feeling of a happy memory. But then I realize that those feelings were from my dream, even if I don’t fully remember the dream. That leads me to think about how cold viruses mutate from person to person. What if cold viruses also transferred memories, thoughts, or feelings? This also would explain why there are so many strangers in my dreams. There are faces of people I have never met before, in this life anyway. I think this could be a start of my sci-fi story. How could this be studied? Could it be manipulated? Used for good or evil? How could it backfire? Hmm …
