Daily Doodle: Candy Corn

Song of the Day: Runaway by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Musical Pipe Dream: I sit down at a vacant piano at the mall and start playing around on the keys and transition into this song. My voice is quiet yet strong and people in the food court look over while they chew. I continue to sing and play and a woman at Panda Express calls out somebody for not paying for their 3 item combo.

Blurb 1/365: Boo. Boo-urns.

Daily Doodle: The World May Never Know

Song of the Day: Art Star by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m singing lead on a tiny stage in a small venue. The drums take up most of the stage. The guitarist is behind the drummer stage right and I’m sitting on the left edge of the stage singing and screaming in a person’s face.

Blurb 1/365: It’s best to ignore ignorance, but sometimes it’s really fun to get angry about it.

Daily Doodle: Fan Talk

Song of the Day: Rockers to Swallow by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m wearing Converse high tops and shuffling to the right and left to the rhythm of the guitar. I can’t stop moving so I walk around the stage in circles. My head is down with my hair in my face which covers the sight of the microphone that I’m holding.

Blurb 1/365: “Oh my god! There are giant manta rays!” One of the wonderful quotes from this weekend regarding (not so new) New Super Mario Bros Wii.

Daily Doodle: The Beastmaster

Song of the Day: Phenomena by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Musical Pipe Dream: There is a scene that I envision with this song. I imagine a karaoke/bar/strip club that has circular red booths that face away from the main stage. All of the front row seats are provided in the sunken floor that looks up to the stage. Families order their food and eat free boiled peanuts at the circular booths while the strip show starts. The lights go out, a spotlight shines on a stripper with the perfect body scantly clad in a red ensemble. Families go on enjoying their boiled peanuts, onlookers enjoy the show.

Blurb 1/365: My life has a soundtrack and I don’t have to pay any royalties.
