Daily Doodle: Lazy Daze (End of Series)

Song of the Day: Part of Your World written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman and sung by Jodi Benson from The Little Mermaid

Musical Pipe Dream: James and I are standing in line for the Little Mermaid ride. The wait is about 1 hour and 45 minutes and it’s 90 degrees. In the line maze, I start blowing bubbles. Bubbles are kissing kids’ faces and clinging to hair sprayed hair. James’s hands are both painted. The right one is painted like Flounder and the left one is painted like Sebastian. The Sebastian hand is perched on my left shoulder. The Flounder hand is floating just above my right shoulder. I start to sing and nobody seems to care. I’m overwhelmed with happiness and confidence. I just want to be part of that world.

Blurb 1/365: Make sure to slow down once in a while. Look around you. LOOK around you.

Daily Doodle: You’ve Been Puppified

Song of the Day: Things Have Changed by Bob Dylan

Musical Pipe Dream: My hair is unkempt and I’m wearing a long cotton skirt with an ill-fitting puffy shirt. I’m on stage shaking a shaker and taking wide steps with the back of my left hand on my hip and my back arched far back. Everybody is trying to keep from making eye contact with me. I’m shaking that shaker like I’m playing an electric guitar solo. The police are called.

Blurb 1/365: Sometimes all you need is peanut butter and jelly on Eggos.
